Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Material QC Inspector to support the Liverpool Bay Project. Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for executing inspections on materials, instrumentation, and equipment received on site, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute inspection and QC activities on all incoming materials and equipment in accordance with the QC Plan and project requirements.
  • Review Purchase Orders and Project Specifications to verify compliance through visual and dimensional checks.
  • Perform visual inspections of delivered materials to verify integrity, correct marking, storage, preservation, and handling.
  • Prepare MRR/MIR documentation and liaise with the client regarding received materials.
  • Ensure inspection activities, material certifications, and quality records are managed in compliance with Codes, Standards, QC Plans, and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Collect, manage, and verify inspection and test documentation to ensure full traceability for inclusion in the final As-Built dossier.
  • Issue Inspection Material Reports, Receiving Inspection Reports, and Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs).
  • Oversee subcontractor activities, ensuring implementation of approved QC Plans and ITPs, witnessing inspections, and collecting QC records.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Material QC operations on Oil & Gas construction and working site.
  • Strong experience performing QC tasks for structural, mechanical, civil, and electrical equipment and materials.
  • International certifications for materials inspection.
  • Good knowledge of international codes and standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office 365, particularly Excel.
Education
  • Relevant degree or technical diploma.
