Graduate Sustainability Lead Horsforth, Leeds
Are you a recent graduate with a passion for sustainability and the ambition to lead positive environmental and social change?
Our client, an industry leader with an Eco Vadis Platinum sustainability rating, is seeking a motivated Graduate Sustainability Lead to support and help deliver their sustainability strategy across the business. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to step into a visible role, gaining hands-on experience while being supported by senior stakeholders.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Horsforth, Leeds, offering a salary of £30,000 plus excellent benefits including 23 days holiday + bank holidays, a bonus scheme and free on-site parking.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the implementation and monitoring of the sustainability strategy, including KPIs and targets
Working closely with senior leadership to support sustainability policies and commitments
Assisting with sustainability data collection, analysis and reporting, including environmental and carbon metrics
Supporting Eco Vadis and CDP submissions and sustainability certifications (e.g. ISO
14001)Helping coordinate internal sustainability training and awareness initiatives
Supporting the preparation of sustainability reports, articles and whitepapers
Working cross-functionally with departments to identify sustainability opportunities within operations and the supply chain
Keeping up to date with sustainability regulations and best practice (EPR, Plastic Packaging Tax, RAM)
Supporting collaboration with external sustainability partners
Requirements:
A recent graduate (or equivalent) in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business or a related discipline
Strong interest in ESG, sustainability and corporate responsibility
Some understanding of sustainability frameworks or reporting (training provided)
Well organised with strong attention to detail
Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams
Proactive, enthusiastic and keen to develop
