This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, thrives in a collaborative environment and has a keen eye for detail.

The Role

You’ll be building and wiring both prototype and production equipment, working from engineering drawings, circuit diagrams and sketches. Precision soldering and finishing of terminations
Checking and testing your own work to ensure everything is wired correctly before the next stage
Highlighting any changes or improvements to designs or processes
Keeping your workspace organised and safe
Working closely with production control and purchasing teams to manage material requirements
Occasionally visiting customer sites to support projects (travel may be required)
Supporting with tool calibration when needed

Requirements:

Previous experience in an electrical wiring role

Knowledge of wiring standards within specialist or highly regulated industries
Experience terminating and splicing fibre optic assemblies

Positive, enthusiastic and willing to roll up your sleeves
Adaptable and resilient, happy to take on new challenges
