Production Operator Night Shift

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator. This role involves running boards through placements machines & ovens and testing finished goods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, following Standard Operating Procedures and maintaining high quality standards.

£15.26 (rising to £15.81 after 12 weeks on site)

Training required for 8-12 weeks on AM Shift (Apply online only) or on PM Shift #removed#, standard pay rate applies during training period (£12.21)

• Using the SMT equipment create PCBs according to SOPs and standard build times
• Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality
• Operate test equipment and interpret pass/fail criteria
• Maintain accurate records and follow safety protocols
• Participate in daily shift briefings and end-of-shift handovers
• Collaborate with a team of approximately 10 colleagues under a structured shift management system

• Machine operation experience (SMT operation would be a bonus)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions in English
• Good communication skills and ability to retain and apply information
• Physically capable of performing tasks involving standing, bending, and light lifting
• Comfortable working in a mixed seated/standing environment
• Willingness to work collaboratively and contribute to team goals

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Familiarity with APC / manual Insertion
• Experience using test equipment in a production setting
• Background in similar industries
