About the Role

As a CAM Programmer, you will play a key role in converting engineering designs into optimized CNC programs using Siemens NX CAM. Your work will directly impact precision manufacturing, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency in production.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize CNC machining programs using NX CAM
- Translate complex 3D models into accurate toolpaths for milling, drilling, turning operations
- Select cutting tools, define machining strategies, and run simulations for process validation
- Generate and validate NC code using NX virtual machine environments
- Collaborate with production and quality teams for first article prove-outs and corrective actions
- Prepare setup sheets, tool lists, and clear work instructions for operators
- Maintain revision control and support continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills

- Proficiency in Siemens NX CAM (mandatory)
- Knowledge of GD&T for precise part validation

- Experience with CNC machine setup, tool selection, fixture design
- Familiarity with NX CAD is an advantage
- Ability to interpret 2D/3D technical drawings and manufacturing specifications

Experience:

5+ years (for B.E. candidates)

8+ years (for Diploma holders)
