Senior Civil Engineer

Abatec is recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineer to help deliver major water and wastewater infrastructure across the South West. You'll be part of a collaborative design and build team working on a long-term programme of investments through AMP 8 and into AMP 9. You'll play a key role in developing civil solutions from early concept right through to commissioning.

• Provide design support and technical guidance, ensuring all designs are fit for purpose and compliant with current legislation and standards
• Manage interfaces between civil design and other engineering disciplines, and produce key project documentation
• Work collaboratively with commercial, operational and construction teams to develop safe, efficient and practical solutions
• Act as a technical adviser on project deliverables and carry out technical reviews across other teams
• Support and mentor junior engineers, contributing to team development and resource planning

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a relevant professional institution
• Proven experience delivering high-quality civil engineering outputs to design, safety and quality standards
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel across the operational region

• £60,000 - £70,000
