About the Role:
We are looking for a commercially astute and experienced Fit Out Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. This dual-role position offers the opportunity to be involved in both the pre-construction and commercial management phases of high-end fit out projects across sectors such as office, retail, hospitality, and leisure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimating Duties:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for fit out and refurbishment projects.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to produce competitive bids.
  • Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best value.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.

• Quantity Surveying Duties:

  • Manage project budgets, valuations, and cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and variations.
  • Monitor and control project costs to ensure profitability.
  • Liaise with site teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure commercial success.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in estimating and/or quantity surveying within the fit out or interiors sector.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and commercial practices.
• Proficient in estimating and QS software (e.g., Con Quest, Excel, Bluebeam).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
