Building Surveyor | East Anglia and London | £50,000 - £60,000 Your new company Hays are delighted to be working with this multidisciplinary Chartered Surveying Practice to recruit a Building Surveyor into the team due to a very exciting year of growth. This practice offers a range of services work for both public and private sector clients, including work on health and social housing projects across East Anglia and London.

They deliver building condition survey drawings, fire & safety refurbishments, contract administration, project management and reactive works. Your new role As the new Building Surveyor, you will provide professional advice on property and construction. You will prepare detailed reports, specifications and building surveys; identify defects and advise on repair, maintenance and restoration/remedial options, including project management. You will liaise with clients and contractors, chair meetings and build relationships.

Current projects include Hospitals, Local Authority Properties, Social housing and Listed Buildings. You'll work from 8.45am to 4.45pm and the work is less desk bound with a large proportion of the working day spent on site. Although you are able to work remotely for report writing etc. What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful, you will preferably be MRICS or equivalent, but this is not essential.

You will hold a degree in building surveying or equivalent, and you will have experience in the sector. What you'll get in return In return, you will receive a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum plus an annual bonus, a car or car allowance, Pension, phone/ laptop, fuel card and all expenses covered. You will receive 28 days, annual leave including bank holidays, increasing to 33 over 5 years.
