Service Engineer

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Valve Technician required for a global, leading manufacturer of valves.

The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Valve Technician will be responsible for providing on-site servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs of packaged systems, valves, and steam distribution equipment, while delivering tailored technical solutions and maintaining strong customer relationships across the North of the M62 corridor.

The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Valve Technician must have experience in servicing valves, steam systems, or process equipment (mechanical and electrical bias), ideally with a background as a Field Service or Valve Engineer, and based north of the M62 corridor.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Valve Technician Role

Attend customer sites to carry out servicing, repairs, and emergency breakdown response.
Diagnose faults and repair packaged systems, valves, plant rooms, and steam distribution systems.
Complete service reports using the company app and communicate findings effectively.
Build strong customer relationships and provide tailored technical solutions.
Working remotely, covering the North of the M62 corridor, including Liverpool, Manchester, Bradford, Rochdale, Huddersfield, and Leeds.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Valve Technician Responsibilities

Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Valve Engineer / Valve Technician / Steam Engineer / Steam Technician, or similar.
Experience servicing valves, control valves, isolation valves, safety valves, solenoid valves, actuated valves, actuators, steam-related products, process equipment, flow control, or similar.
Must have a mechanical and electrical bias.
Preferably based North of the M62 corridor, including Liverpool, Manchester, Bradford, Rochdale, Huddersfield, and Leeds.
Full UK driving license
