Employer: Exemplar Health Care – Lepton Heights, Huddersfield

Location: 36 Wakefield Road, Fenay Bridge, Huddersfield, HD8 0BG

Contract: 20 hours per week, including weekends

Rate: £12.21 per hour

Driving License: Full driving licence required

We are looking for an enthusiastic, people‑loving Activities Coordinator to organise and lead engaging activities for the residents of Lepton Heights. You will empower residents to live fulfilled and happy lives through creative, meaningful and fun activities.

• Organise individual activity plans based on residents’ goals and interests
• Foster community spirit through group activities
• Support residents in maintaining existing and acquiring new hobbies, interests and educational opportunities
• Assist residents to become more involved in the local community
• Celebrate national awareness days, holidays and individual/collective achievements
• Promote choice, dignity and independence

• Careful, kind and able to see the funny side of life
• Creative thinker, always on the lookout for new activities and ideas
• Enthusiastic, encouraging and inclusive
• Organised, with a positive, can‑do attitude
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Understanding of individual needs

We value relevant experience and qualifications, but they aren’t essential.
