Welder/Fabricator – Factory Based

Location:

Huddersfield Rate: £16.50-£17.50p/h

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am- 4:15pm, 37 hours p/w Permanent

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team, working on a variety of welding and fabrication tasks to meet industry standards. The role will involve welding on a wide range of materials and pipe sizes in a factory-based environment, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Welding to ASME IX and ISO
3834 requirements. Plating and welding on Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Duplex, and Super Duplex materials (3mm to 40mm thick plate). Pipe welding on Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Duplex, and Super Duplex materials (½” to 12” pipe SCH
10 to SCH
80). Mig – Tig – Flux Core Oxy/Acetylene and Plasma cutting Operation of JIB cranes and overhead cranes. Requirements:
Extensive experience in welding and fabrication. Proficiency in welding Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Duplex, and Super Duplex. Ability to operate welding processes such as GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and SAW in 1G and 6G positions.

Experience with oxy/acetylene and plasma cutting. Weld Test on site required I am looking to speak to experienced Fabricator Welders who are looking for a rewarding and challenging contract position.
