Could you make a real difference to young peoples' futures? We are looking for a passionate and proactive Employer Engagement Specialist to join our growing NEXUS In‑School Team
. This is your chance to help shape the career journeys of young people by connecting them with meaningful work experience opportunities.
Our NEXUS In‑School programme has been transforming lives of young people in Kirklees for over 10 years and now operates in Calderdale, Leeds, and Wakefield. Our innovative employability programme gives Key Stage 4 students the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience through extended work placements with local employers for up to two days a week, whilst studying a reduced number of core GCSEs in school.
Your role will be to build and strengthen relationships with employers across West Yorkshire in order to secure high‑quality work opportunities for young people which match their vocational interests and aspirations. You will support the wider NEXUS Team to ensure that work placements are safe, supportive and enriching. You will provide excellent customer service to employers, schools, young people and their families.
