Must Haves
  • Logistics/planning experience
  • Ability to work earlies, lates & weekends
  • Live within a commutable distance
  • Strong attention to detail & organisational skills
  • Confident IT skills (Outlook & Excel)
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C+ in Maths & English
  • Ability to interpret data & prioritise workloads
  • Team player with strong communication skills
Hours

Approx. 37.5 hours per week across early (6am-3pm), late (9am-6pm) and mid shifts (7am-4pm) + weekend shifts (6am-6pm) on a rota of 4 weekends in 13.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate delivery schedules efficiently
  • Use computerised planning systems to optimise routes and resources
  • Ensure safe, cost-effective service for all customers
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Manage operational and administrative tasks
  • Work independently and handle challenges in a fast-moving department
  • Prioritise tasks and respond quickly to issues as they arise
Optional Qualifications / Skills
  • Knowledge of UK geography
  • Experience with WinDMS
  • Own transport
  • Transport industry or planning experience
  • Understanding of Drivers Hours Regulations
  • CPC or other transport qualifications
  • A-Level education or equivalent
