Legal Secretary

Location: Kingston upon Hull

Due to internal promotion, our client is looking for a full-time Legal Secretary to join their team, assisting fee earners in their family department.

THE ROLE:

Deal with enquiries from clients, courts, and other solicitors both face-to-face, over the telephone and via e-mail.
Prepare letters and documentation from dictation in a precise manner.
Deal with correspondence and other documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
Organise meetings and booking meeting rooms.
Arrange travel.
Use the company's time-recording system accurately.
Photocopy documents.
Create files accurately and precisely.
Liaise with cashiers and archivists.
Keep common office areas tidy and free from obstruction.
Other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

THE CANDIDATE:
Family law experience is desirable.
Secretarial experience is desirable.
Possess excellent multi-tasking skills.
Be able to prioritise workload effectively.
Be able to take initiative and be enthusiastic.
Adhere to court deadlines.
Have brilliant communication skills.
Possess good attention to detail.
Have great punctuality and organisational skills.
Adaptability and flexibility is a must for working in a fast-paced environment.
Understand and adhere to client confidentiality.
