Consultant in Infection | University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic colleague to join our innovative, fully integrated Department of Infection. This substantive post has a primary focus on supporting our core activities. We currently need extra clinical time available for microbiology and laboratory-based practice and infection prevention and control; this could be part of the successful applicant’s job or re-shared between current consultants by back filling their current clinical duties, depending on the applicant’s professional profile.

As Teaching Hospitals working with the Hull York Medical School, we both lead and contribute to research in many areas - biomedical research, primary care, palliative medicine, cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, vascular surgery, cancer surgery and oncology.
