Interim Chief Financial Officer

We are partnering with an £80m revenue professional services business looking for an experienced Interim CFO to lead the professionalisation of its finance function through its next phase of growth.

The business has reached a point where finance needs to evolve significantly. The incoming CFO will be tasked with building a more scalable, commercial and data-led finance function, improving the quality of reporting and giving the leadership team much greater visibility over performance.

• Professionalising the finance team, structure and processes
• Improving monthly reporting, forecasting and FP&A
• Building better visibility across utilisation, WIP, project/client profitability and revenue per head
• Strengthening cash flow, working capital, billing and controls
• Improving finance systems, processes and data quality
• Developing stronger commercial finance and business partnering capability
• Creating a finance function capable of supporting continued growth, M&A and a potential future exit

We are looking for an experienced Interim CFO who has professionalised a finance function within a £50m-£150m business, ideally within professional services or another people-led environment.

You will need to be hands-on, commercially strong and comfortable driving change at pace, with the ability to operate equally effectively with the CEO, senior leadership team and wider finance function.
