Locum Recovery Worker specialising in Substance Misuse in Hull, UK, earning £23 Umbrella Hourly. Full Time, Ongoing – 3 months with a view to extend

What you will do:
  • Support service users from entry into the service through to recovery.
  • Carry out screening, assessment, recovery planning, and make onward referrals.
  • Reduce drug and alcohol‑related harm to clients and the wider community.
  • Promote service user, carer, and community involvement.
  • Provide advocacy and partnership working to ensure access to wider support services.
  • Help individuals reintegrate into the community through recovery‑focused, person‑centred approaches.
You will coordinate:
  • Recognised psycho‑social interventions.
  • 1:1 key working, POD, and group sessions.
  • Clinical and harm minimisation interventions.
  • Brief interventions and referrals into specialist services.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a substance misuse service is necessary to provide the best support and results for our clients.
