Database Administrator

Seeking an experienced Technical Lead (Reporting) to support the implementation of a new Records Management System (RMS). This role will provide both technical and functional expertise, ensuring high-quality reporting solutions that enable effective data use across the organisation.

You will act as a subject matter expert, leading the delivery of standardised reporting practices - including development, documentation, training, and guidance to colleagues. Working closely with project and programme teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of a major RMS implementation.

• Champion and deliver a standard reporting model, covering development, documentation, and training.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Strong experience using SQL or equivalent query languages to extract and manipulate data.
• Knowledge of release packaging, deployment, and version control.
• Proven capability in analysis and design of data/reporting solutions.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimisation.
• Demonstrated success developing data solutions and reporting services.
• Ability to support critical project and programme deliveries.
• A proactive approach and desire to work in a challenging and innovative environment.

The role is largely remote, with an expectation of being in the office around two days per week or as required for meetings and appointments. Attendance may be at locations in Sheffield (South Yorkshire) or Hull (Humberside).
