Services Coordinator
Hours:
37.5 hours per week (shift pattern)
Hourly Rate: £13.00
- Core hours between 7:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Saturday morning on-call (rota shared with two other team members)
- Initially 5 days per week in the office
- Once fully competent, potential to work from home
, with a maximum of 2 office days per week - Occasional site visits (approximately once per quarter)
We are looking for a Services
Coordinator to support the Water Delivery Lead and wider Water Delivery Team in delivering high-quality customer service and efficient business operations.
This is a fast-paced, reactive role acting as the first point of contact for key stakeholders on the Sizewell C (SZC) project
, supporting clear communication, effective coordination, and a seamless customer experience.
The role plays a key part in maintaining strong communication between clients, site-based teams, and contractors, ensuring operational requirements are met, processes are followed, records are auditable, and service delivery is maintained across all operational hours.
Key Responsibilities 1. Stakeholder Management & Communication- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for SZC project stakeholders, including clients, site operations, and contractors
- Respond to emails, phone calls, and Teams messages within agreed service levels
- Support regular virtual and face-to-face meetings and attend site visits when required
- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalation operational issues to support timely resolution
- Maintain clear, professional communication to support client satisfaction
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and develop within the role as project complexity increases
- Coordinate resources and schedules during operational hours to meet client requirements
- Accurately capture and process delivery requests within relevant systems
- Maintain scheduling systems and assign work to contractors
- Monitor progress and maintain regular communication with stakeholders
- Resolve site access and delivery issues in a timely manner
- Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and documentation to plan, track, and record delivery information
- Maintain accurate records of completed work for operational tracking and reporting
- Ensure client, legal, health & safety documentation is accurate and auditable
- Support financial monitoring and control, including month-end processes
- Support the Water Delivery Lead and HSEQ team to ensure safe, compliant operations
- Ensure work requests are clearly understood for safe and efficient delivery
- Assist with reporting and escalation of incidents, near misses, and HSEQ observations
- Support site-based activities, including inspections and documentation audits
- Work collaboratively to support effective team operations
- Provide cross-cover for the Water Delivery Lead and Administrator, including administrative and financial tasks, as required
- Support continuity of service across the Water Delivery Team
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive environment
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Confident using systems, spreadsheets, and operational data
- Able to work flexibly as part of a shift-based team
- Willing to attend occasional site visits
