Assistant Management Accountant – Temporary

Location: Huntingdon (hybrid working – approx. 2 days per week onsite)
Rate: £23.00 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary, up to 6 months

We are working with a well-established organisation in Huntingdon who are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team on a temporary basis.

This role will support the delivery of accurate and timely management information, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support both operational and strategic decision-making.

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Posting journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts and investigating variances
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analysing operating expenditure and identifying trends and efficiencies
• Ensuring compliance with financial controls and supporting process improvements

• Graduate or AAT qualified, with progression towards CIMA or ACCA
• Experience working in a finance or management accounting environment
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with the ability to work with a range of stakeholders
• Strong Excel and MS Word skills
• Able to work to deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Competitive hourly rate of £23.00
