Machine Operative - Day Shift

About the Role

Shift Start Time: 07:00

Shift End Time: 19:30

Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off

Pay Frequency:
Weekly

Pay Per Hour: £13.20

• You will operate our machines in production and ensure machinery is kept clean and safe during and at the end of your shift.
• You will drive production lines to fulfil daily customer orders in the most cost-effective way.
• You will be trained on more than one machine as you develop your career.
• You will help train new starters.
• You will complete changeovers such as label verifications on your line.
• You will identify ways of how to set the machine to run smarter.
• You will understand the machine and speed targets to meet or exceed customer orders in a timely manner and communicate this with your line.
• You will liaise with your Line Leader and provide updates of hourly performance.
• You will report any downtime and escape any issues to the wider team.
• You will follow correct procedures and ensure others do as well.

• Training and Development with onsite Training Team.
• Apprenticeships, such as Engineering.

• Experience with machinery in a production environment (preferred but not essential).
• Experience in technical roles such as mechanical or engineering.
• Able to work in a target driven environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Numerical skills and attention to detail.
