You will be responsible for ensuring mechanical, electrical, avionics, and mission systems are successfully integrated into completed air vehicles and meet engineering, quality, and operational requirements.

You will support both prototype aircraft development and production builds, serving as the technical authority on the integration floor. In addition to hands‑on integration work, you will mentor technicians, coordinate cross‑functional build activities, troubleshoot complex system‑level issues, and drive quality and schedule adherence through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead final integration activities for unmanned aircraft systems, ensuring mechanical, electrical, avionics, and payload systems are installed and verified to specification.
  • Ensure tooling, fixtures, and integration equipment are maintained and calibrated as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused work environment.
  • Mentor junior technicians and serve as the technical lead for final integration activities, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Uphold all safety, quality, traceability, and documentation requirements in accordance with aerospace and defense standards.
  • Perform hands‑on assembly, integration, routing, wiring, fastening, adjustment, and system configuration activities.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, CAD models, schematics, work instructions, and configuration documentation.
  • Execute aircraft‑level integration procedures, ensuring proper fit, function, configuration control, and documentation compliance.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration, fitment, wiring, avionics, and system communication issues and drive resolution with engineering and quality teams.
  • Support aircraft functional checks, ground testing, subsystem verification, and delivery readiness inspections.
  • Verify proper installation and operation of avionics, propulsion, flight controls, communications systems, and mission equipment.
  • Identify build risks, non‑conformances, and integration challenges early and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate daily integration activities across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, and test teams.
  • Support rapid prototype development by adapting build processes, documenting lessons learned, and providing feedback to engineering.
  • Support production builds by following established work instructions, maintaining repeatability, and meeting schedule commitments.
  • Conduct in‑process and final inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or trade school education preferred.
  • 4+ years of hands‑on experience in aerospace, defense, aviation, automotive motorsports, or other high‑reliability manufacturing…
