This is a mid-senior technical role requiring strong hands-on engineering expertise, migration experience, and the ability to lead components of enterprise-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
AWS Connect Engineering
Lead and contribute to AWS Connect migrations , including Cisco-to-AWS transition projects.
Design, build, and optimize AWS Connect call flows, routing profiles, queues, and IVR logic .
Implement integrations with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo
DB, S3, Cloud Watch , and other AWS services.
Own the full lifecycle of solutions — configuration, deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Solutioning & Technical Leadership
Participate in solution architecture discussions , providing technical inputs and best practices.
Guide junior team members on AWS Connect setup, development, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with product, architecture, infra, and business teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
Development & Integrations
Work closely on custom APIs , backend services (Java/Node.js), and UI layers (React/Angular) when needed.
Integrate contact center workflows with CRM systems, bots (Lex), analytics , and enterprise systems.
Operational Excellence
Support ongoing maintenance, monitoring, incident resolution, and continuous improvement.
Apply Dev Ops, CI/CD , and cloud-native engineering practices where applicable.
Required Skills & Experience (6–12 Years)
Core AWS Connect Expertise
Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Connect , including call flows, routing, IVR design, CTI integrations.
Proven experience in migration projects (preferably Cisco → AWS Connect).
Proficiency in AWS Lambda and event-driven architectures.
AWS Ecosystem
Solid understanding of:
IAM, Cloud Watch, Dynamo
DB, S3, Kinesis, API Gateway
Logging, monitoring, and operational troubleshooting
Contact center security and compliance baselines
Development & Integration Skills
Strong experience with REST APIs, microservices , and integration patterns.
Good to have: Java, Node.js , and front-end experience (React/Angular).
Professional Skills
Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders in large enterprise environments.
Excellent communication and documentation capabilities.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Knowledge of Dev Ops tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD automation.
Experience with Amazon Lex , conversational AI, and bot frameworks.
Exposure to large-scale BFSI domain environments.
Certifications:
AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, AWS Connect Specialty (if applicable) .
