AWS System Administrator

Role: AWS System Administrator

Experience:

4-10 years

Location:

Hyderabad/ Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, configure, and optimize AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Cloud Watch, ELB, Auto Scaling, etc.)
Perform Linux/Windows system administration tasks (patching, updates, troubleshooting).
Implement and maintain cloud security best practices (IAM policies, KMS, security groups).
Monitor cloud environments using Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, and other monitoring tools.
Automate routine tasks using  Bash, Python, or Power Shell scripts .
Manage backup, disaster recovery, and high‑availability configurations.
Deploy and maintain infrastructure automation using  Cloud Formation / Terraform .
Coordinate with Dev Ops and development teams for deployments and environment upgrades.
Troubleshoot network issues related to VPC, subnets, route tables, VPN, Direct Connect, etc.
Ensure cost optimization and prepare AWS cost & performance reports.
Handle incident management and root cause analysis (RCA).

Required Skills:

4–10 years of experience as a System Administrator, with at least 3+ years in AWS.
Strong hands‑on experience with:
EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, Cloud Watch, SNS, SQS
Solid understanding of networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, Load Balancers.

Experience with Linux and/or Windows server administration.
Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, or Power Shell).
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience –  Cloud Formation or Terraform .
Knowledge of CI/CD (Code Pipeline, Jenkins, Git Lab) is a plus.
AWS Certification (AWS Sys Ops Admin Associate / Solutions Architect) is an added advantage.
