PURPOSE OF
THE ROLE
Within the IT Flat Europe organization, the Digital & IT Finance and Procurement perimeter is responsible for the IT Strategy of the Finance and Procurement functions, including efficiency, process and system exploitation and optimization.
The SAP SD Application analyst will join an IT department focused on the implementation of SAP based solutions for invoice-to-cash business requirements. You will act as subject matter expert of the SAP Sales and Distribution processes, from delivery to cash, having a good understanding of the Arcelor Mittal business processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Requirements Analysis and Solution Design
Understand the European business requirements related to eInvoicing and eReporting, imposed by the EU-commission.
Support the SD functional analyst to analyze the business needs of the organization and use their knowledge to design, customize, develop, and configure SAP ECC software systems.
Determine which newest SAP software solutions could help the business to accomplish specific milestones.
SAP System Development and Customization
Knowing SAP advanced business application programming (ABAP) code to enable you to script, debug, and understand the applications you are working on, increasing your efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify automation opportunities and analyze innovative solutions such as digitalization tools, machine learning, or artificial intelligence, resulting in direct reduction of manual workload and increased data accuracy.
System Maintenance and Issue Resolution
Focus on the analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of SAP application errors, bugs, and other system problems.
Manage system back-up and upgrade.
Closely follow up on the release of OSS-notes.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Technical experience with SAP SD/MM in ECC system of minimum 5 years is mandatory
Technical experience with SAP BTP, SAP DRC and SAP RDP (SaaS packages) is mandatory
Having basic knowledge of SAP FI/CO
Knowing ABAP development language
Have a passion for technology and analytics
Fluent knowledge of English
Communicate technical problems and solutions to non-technical users and stakeholders
Problem solving and reporting skills
Ability to be flexible, stress resilient and work to deadlines
Being a team player
PREFERRED TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Knowledge of another European language is an adavantage
REQUIREMENTS
Degree
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in a computer-related filed, such as computer science of IT
Experience
Technical experience with SAP SD/MM in ECC system of 6-8 years
