Role Overview
Finxbridge is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Shopify E-commerce Developer / Intern to support the development, customization, and maintenance of Shopify-based e-commerce websites. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working on both backend configurations and frontend design to create smooth and high-performing online stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify e-commerce websites
- Work with the Shopify backend, including product setup, collections, pricing, inventory, and order management
- Design and customize Shopify themes to improve UI/UX and overall store appearance
- Implement frontend enhancements using HTML, CSS, and Java Script
- Integrate and manage apps, plugins, and third-party tools
- Map and manage product feeds for platforms such as Google, Meta, and other marketplaces
- Ensure proper feed structure, tagging, and data accuracy
- Optimize website performance, responsiveness, and checkout experience
- Troubleshoot issues related to site functionality, integrations, and performance
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and performance teams to support business goals
Required
Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience or strong understanding of Shopify platform and backend
- Experience in designing Shopify websites and customizing themes
- Working knowledge of Java Script
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Understanding of product feed mapping and data structure
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setup
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Experience with Shopify apps and APIs
- Basic understanding of e-commerce metrics and conversion optimization
- Prior project, internship, or freelance experience with Shopify stores
