System Administrator

The ideal candidate will design, organize, and modify the company‘s computer systems. This individual will evaluate and assess systems to ensure they are operating effectively. Based on assessments, this individual will harness collected knowledge and make adjustments to existing systems.

Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
System Maintenance & Security:
Install, configure, and perform routine system checks, software updates, patching, and security configuration to ensure high availability, security, and efficiency for both UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems.
AWS Cloud Management:
Monitor and maintain the AWS Infrastructure, including core services like EC2, RDS, VPCs, and S3. Implement best practices for monitoring, cost optimization, and scalability within the cloud environment.
E-Commerce & Application Support:
Provide strong hands-on maintenance and support for key web applications and e-commerce platforms, including Magento and applications built on Laravel. Ensure optimal performance, security, and stability.
Database Management:
Maintain familiarity with database management concepts, SQL, and services like AWS RDS to support application backends and ensure data integrity.
Web Services Optimization:
Manage and optimize web application components, including configuring Caching solutions, DNS, CDN services like Cloudflare, and knowledge of other relevant networking protocols.
Documentation & Reporting:
Document system configurations, procedures, and changes. Track and manage incidents and service requests in the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and professional follow-up.
Vendor Coordination & Projects:
Coordinate with Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) vendors for scheduled maintenance or issue escalation. Actively contribute to IT projects and technology deployment/system upgrades in collaboration with other teams.
Data Integrity:
Ensure data integrity and security through regular audits, monitoring, and management of data backup solutions.
