We are looking for a Service Now SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) Consultant/Developer with strong experience in implementing and supporting Service Now SPM modules. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize portfolio, project, and demand management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and configure Service Now SPM modules , including:
Demand Management
Project & Program Management
Resource Management
Portfolio Management
Financial Planning & Tracking
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Service Now SPM solutions.
Configure workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, and reports/dashboards.
Customize SPM using Flow Designer, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and Business Rules .
Integrate SPM with other Service Now modules such as ITSM, HRSD, and CMDB .
Provide support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Participate in testing, UAT support, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Create technical and functional documentation.
Ensure best practices, security, and Service Now upgrade compatibility.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
4+ years of Service Now platform experience .
2+ years of hands-on experience with Service Now SPM module .
Strong understanding of:
Demand & Project lifecycle management
Portfolio prioritization & funding models
Resource allocation & capacity planning
Experience with Service Now scripting (JavaScript).
Experience in reports, dashboards, and performance analytics (preferred).
Good communication skills to interact with business and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Service Now SPM / CSA / CAD certification is a plus.
Experience working with Agile / SAFe / Waterfall project models .
Exposure to integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server).
Experience in IT services, BFSI, Healthcare, or Enterprise environments.
Nice to Have
Performance Analytics for SPM
Agile Development (Scrum) knowledge
Exposure to Service Now upgrades and platform governance
