Trainer, IT​/Computer Science Instructor

EPIC Application Trainer will plan, develop, and deliver engaging EMR training that supports high-quality, culturally grounded care.

• Design and facilitate EPIC workflows for clinical and administrative staff.
• Create clear, user-friendly training materials and learning resources.
• Provide at-the-elbow support during EPIC go-lives and upgrades.
• Partner with clinical, IT, and education teams to optimize documentation and streamline use.
• Drive user adoption and continuous improvement of training effectiveness.
• Integrate tribal culture and holistic wellness values into all training experiences.
• Support staff development while promoting work-life balance.

• Strong knowledge of EPIC systems and clinical/administrative workflows.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, and instructional design skills.
• Ability to translate complex workflows into practical, role-based training.
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional clinical, IT, and education partners.
• Strong communication skills, including empathetic, culturally responsive training.
• Proven ability to support users in real-time and improve documentation practices.
