If so, our client is looking for a dynamic Health & Safety Compliance Manager to lead their Health, Safety, and Compliance functions across Parks and Open Spaces!

About the Role:

In this exciting position, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our operational teams, parks, public spaces, and facilities maintain the highest standards of safety and legal compliance. Your expertise will help foster a proactive culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and revise health and safety policies and procedures.
Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance and safety standards are met.
Deliver engaging toolbox talks and training sessions, focusing on emerging risks and best practices.
Monitor contractor compliance and review their risk assessments and safety plans.
Manage contractors effectively, ensuring their RAMS meet the required standards.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in developing and implementing H&S policies and procedures.
Strong background in conducting audits, inspections, and safety investigations.
Excellent communication skills for training delivery and guidance.
Experience managing contractor compliance and reviewing safety documentation.
A proactive attitude toward safety and risk management.

Essential

Qualifications:

NEBOSH Diploma or General Certificate with relevant experience.
Membership of IOSH.
Full UK Driving Licence.
5+ years of experience in Health & Safety, ideally with Compliance or Quality exposure.
