Overview

You will have the opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of specialties including Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Frailty, Acute Stroke, Stroke Rehabilitation, Neurosciences, Orthopaedics, Pelvic Health, Medical Specialities, Acute Elderly, ITU and Respiratory. As a Band 5 physiotherapist you will receive regular in‑service training and supervision by experienced therapists and have the chance to be involved in service development and clinical supervision of students.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a competent standard of physiotherapy service through a holistic approach, facilitating and maximising patient potential within service boundaries.
  • Participate in the Band 5 rotational scheme, working across the Trust.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to clinical supervision of students.
  • Engage in service development activities and continuous professional development.
Qualifications
  • Registered physiotherapist, eligible for Band 5 placement.
  • Experience or enthusiasm for any of the listed specialties.
  • Commitment to the Trust’s safeguarding and welfare procedures.

Additional Information

The Trust operates from two main sites – KGH in Goodmayes and Queen’s Hospital in Romford – and is committed to safeguarding children and adults. All salaries include standard allowances such as High Cost Area for staff on Agenda for Change contracts.
