Production Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing client in Ilkeston to lead and manage a team of staff, reporting directly to the Production Manager. This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive leader with a strong background in manufacturing, who is comfortable maintaining high standards of health and safety, and driving operational efficiency.

•£30,000-£35,000 salary, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of around 35 production staff

• Ensure daily and hourly production targets are consistently met

• Lead, motivate, and develop staff to maintain high performance standards

• Monitor productivity and drive operational efficiency

• Maintain high standards of health & safety and product quality

• Communicate effectively with the Production Manager and wider team

About You

• Previous manufacturing experience is essential

• Experience with in mattress, soft furnishings, or furniture manufacturing is advantageous

• Proven ability to lead and manage a large production team on a morning shift

• Strong leadership, people management, and organisational skills

• Confident using computers with excellent communication skills

• A hands-on, proactive approach with a strong focus on quality and safety
