Seeking an experience Health & Safety professional with strong major projects experience within construction or civil engineering to lead a project initially with scope to grow into division lead for major projects. The position is working for a leading client and will be responsible for management of the contractors and setting high standards across HSEQ. The ideal candidate will have experience leading major projects or be able to step into this position, construction or civil engineering is a must but would be beneficial to have piling, temp works or marine experience.

The HSEQ Lead will be responsible for:

• HSEQ lead on the major projects team, work with principal contractor as the client lead
• Work with site teams to achieve compliance and push for high standards towards HSEQ
• Promote HSEQ initiatives
• Responsible for the HSEQ internal auditing programme
• Manage internal & external stakeholders
• To support wider projects in the business being the subject matter expert.

The HSEQ Lead will have:

• NEBOSH Diploma or working towards
• Experience working in civil engineering or construction industry
• Major projects experience a benefit
• Previous experience working on client side or principal contract
• Position is project focused so required to be onsite 4/5 days per week so must be commutable to location
