Mobile/Static Security Officer

Location:

Grimsby and Immingham.

• Respond to and accurately report any incidents that arise.
• Conduct regular site patrols, ensuring compliance with required KPI points.

• Applicants must be aged 21 or over.
• Possess a current full clean UK manual driver's licence.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must be adaptable to the demands of this dynamic role.

Day shift 05:00–17:00, night shift 17:00–05:00

The pay rate for this position is £12.55 to £12.75 per hour.

• To protect the customer's property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the site's published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes.
• Deliver results that meet and/or exceed the Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreements for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in the retention of the contract.
• To undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development.

• Ensure compliance with policies, legal and regulatory requirements.
• Fully and satisfactorily complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AI's).
• Review and suggest amendments to Assignment Instructions to improve service.
• Obtain and wear required front‑line licences (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV PSS SIA Licence.
• Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements.
• Follow instructions and procedures appropriately.
• Work in a systematic, methodical, and orderly way.

• Complete required competency training.
• Undertake additional training for continuous development.
• Use technology to achieve key work objectives.
• Renew licence 16 weeks before expiry.

• Immediately report any health & safety hazards or potential hazards on site.
• Stay alert to threats or changes and take appropriate action.
• Use common sense and initiative; involve others if situation becomes threatening.
• Maintain professional conduct with difficult customers.
• Complete accurate notebook entries for incident reporting.
• Keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and client.
• Ensure check calls are carried out at allocated time slots.
• Call emergency services and Communication Centre to report all incidents.

• Previous security experience.
• SIA Licence.
• SC Clearance desirable.
