We are looking for a Test & Validation Engineer who will play a key role in ensuring new products meet the highest standards of performance, safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance for the European market.
You will manage the full testing and validation lifecycle of new machinery, from planning and execution to data analysis and technical reporting. This is a hands-on, technical role with strong exposure to international R&D teams, field testing, and real customer applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute validation plans (DVP&R) aligned with European market and regulatory requirements
Perform lab and field tests on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Lead testing activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy
Analyze test results using engineering and statistical tools
Prepare detailed technical reports with clear conclusions and improvement recommendations
Present validation outcomes to internal stakeholders
Ensure compliance with European directives and standards (e.g. Machinery Directive, EN standards)
Maintain validation documentation for audits and certifications
Support quality audits and corrective/preventive actions
Work closely with international R&D teams to provide feedback on design and reliability
Collaborate with Product Management and Sales to translate customer needs into test cases
Coordinate with suppliers and external testing facilities
Improve test methodologies, tools, and processes
Perform risk assessments (e.g. FMEA)
Promote a strong safety culture at test sites
Annual international assignment at the global R&D headquarters ( approx. 2–3 months/year )
Regular travel within Europe and the UK (up to 30%)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field
3+ years of experience in testing/validation within construction, agricultural, or heavy machinery
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Experience with data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g. MATLAB, LabVIEW, Minitab)
Ability to operate heavy machinery for testing purposes
Knowledge of European regulations and standards
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus
Valid driving license
Experience in international or cross-cultural R&D environments
Background in reliability engineering
