Job Description / Responsibilities
Enter transactions and reconcile account balances
Review Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet and make adjustment entries.
Prepare the Income Tax returns, TDS returns, GST returns for the organization.
To ensure legal compliances and look after income tax and GST related activities.
Responsible for raising invoices to clients and taking regular follow ups.
Responsible for approval and disbursement of the vendor’s invoices.
Record keeping of accounts books, billing, and payments.
Prepare payroll processing including salary calculation, reconciliation and payment file in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with governmental laws on payroll accounting and taxes.
Stay up to date on local, state and international tax laws.
Assist with and act as the primary point-of-contact for auditor requests.
Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information to the management.
Responsible for implementing and ensuring adherence to the company's objectives for smooth functioning of day-to-day operations and accounting.
Coordinating with lawyers/consultants on tax related issues.
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

Desired profile of the candidate
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
1-3 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role (Preferably for a startup)
Competent in Advance MS
- Excel.
Well versed with accounting software like Zoho Books, Tally etc.

Office location  - Chrysler Tech Centre, IT Park, Dehradun
