Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.

• Review AP/AR, payroll entries, and expense allocations.

• Analyze financial data and provide variance and trend analysis.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow tracking.

• Ensure tax compliance and coordinate with external auditors.

• Implement and improve accounting processes and controls.

• Assist in system transitions, automation, and process optimization.

• Support ASC 842 lease accounting, including schedules, reconciliations, and disclosures.

• Manage PP&E accounting, including asset additions, disposals, depreciation, and roll-forwards.

• Perform multi-entity consolidations and prepare month-end financial reporting.

• Conduct technical accounting research and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.

• Support annual audits and prepare required schedules.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance management
- Proficiency in cost analysis, financial advisory, and strategic planning
- 5-8 years of experience in auditing and accounting.
- Must have experience in external audit with Big4, along with controllership/accounting experience in other industry/firm.
- Excellent communication skills – mandatory for client interaction.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications like CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred
- Office Timings: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST (Should be comfortable with Night shifts).
- Should be available to join within 30-45 days.
