Senior Tax Associate

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and check tax returns for businesses and organizations, including Forms 1065, 1120S, 1120 (state), and 990, covering multiple states .
Prepare and review business and nonprofit tax returns, including Forms 1065, 1120S, 1120 (state), and 990 across multiple states.
Handle partnership tax filings, including rental real estate, private equity, and passthrough entities.
Ensure accurate reporting for Schedule K-1s, partner allocations, guaranteed payments, and capital accounts.
Manage complex structures, including multi-tiered partnerships and entities.
Oversee multiple tax projects at the same time, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Use tax software like GoSystem; experience with Case Ware FACS is a plus.
Support and mentor junior team members, helping with training and development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in U.S. taxation  (primarily with Forms 1065 and 1120S) .
Should possess strong technical expertise in calculating tax adjustments and identifying potential tax-related issues.
Technical Knowledge :
Solid understanding of GAAP, partnership taxation, and multi-state tax regulations.

Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong communication and time management skills.
