Renewable Energy Technician

Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled Renewable Energy Technician with 2+ years of hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting renewable energy systems. The role involves working on solar, wind, or hybrid energy setups, ensuring efficient operation, safety compliance, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities
Install, test, and maintain renewable energy systems (solar PV, wind turbines, inverters, batteries).
Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure optimal system performance.
Diagnose technical issues, replace faulty components, and document repairs.
Assist in commissioning new installations and verifying system performance.
Follow safety procedures, electrical standards, and compliance regulations.
Collaborate with engineers and project teams for field execution.
Maintain records of service reports, system readings, and maintenance logs.

Required

Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Renewable Energy Technician or in electrical/field maintenance.
Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and grid/off-grid solutions.
Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Familiarity with testing equipment (multimeters, insulation testers, IR thermography).
Strong understanding of electrical safety standards.
Physical ability to work at heights, lift equipment, and work in outdoor conditions.

Preferred Qualifications
Diploma/ITI/Certification in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy Technology.

Experience with wind energy systems (turbine maintenance) is a plus.
Exposure to SCADA monitoring systems.
Valid license for field operations (if applicable).
