Job Description
We are seeking a  UI/UX Designer with hands-on experience designing interfaces for robotics systems using ROS / ROS2 . The role focuses on creating  intuitive, high-performance user interfaces  for robot control, monitoring, visualization, and analytics dashboards. You will collaborate closely with robotics engineers to translate complex robot data into clear, usable interfaces.

Key Responsibilities
Design  UI/UX for ROS / ROS2-based robotics applications
Create dashboards for  robot monitoring, control, and visualization
Design  Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI)  for autonomous and semi-autonomous systems
Collaborate with Robotics Engineers to understand  robot workflows, sensors, and telemetry
Convert ROS topics, services, and logs into  user-friendly visual components
Build wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
Ensure usability, accessibility, and performance for  real-time robotics systems
Work closely with frontend developers to ensure design feasibility and accuracy
Maintain and evolve a  design system  for robotics products

Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a  UI/UX / Product / Visual Designer
Experience designing  complex dashboards or system UIs
Working knowledge of  ROS or ROS2  (robot data, workflows, or tooling)
Strong understanding of  UX for real-time systems
Proficiency in  Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD , or similar tools

Experience with  data visualization and interaction design
Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering teams
Strong portfolio demonstrating  system-level UI/UX work
