Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support for end users. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues to ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities
Provide first- and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/macOS) and standard business applications
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues (LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, email)
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access using Active Directory / Azure AD
Perform system updates, patches, and antivirus management
Support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, One Drive, SharePoint)
Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in a ticketing system
Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams for escalated issues
Set up and support new employee workstations and IT onboarding
Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices
Required

Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1–4 years of experience in desktop or IT support (can be adjusted)
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, and hardware troubleshooting

Experience with Active Directory and user support tools
Good understanding of ITIL processes and ticketing systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with macOS and mobile device management (MDM)
Knowledge of SCCM, Intune, or similar endpoint management tools
Basic scripting knowledge (Power Shell)
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
Work Environment
Office / Onsite / Hybrid support environment
May require shift work or on-call support depending on business needs
