About The Team

The Digital Architecture team is responsible for the research and development of digital architecture and IPs from concept to production. We develop compute engines (AI/ML), processors (RISC-V), Audio and Video subsystems, accelerators, peripherals, bus fabric and internal communication systems, and system IP. We develop IC architectures for multi-core, multithreaded SoCs with an energy-efficient compute backbone for IoT connectivity, security, and sensing subsystems.

Our activities include advanced research and development, high-level modeling, and architecture definition. We value innovation, simplicity, quality, and smart development processes within a highly collaborative and learning-driven team.

Staff Digital Architect

The Staff Level Digital Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing robust digital architectures that support our business objectives of providing power efficient, computation intensive solutions for low power embedded wireless devices. This role requires a deep understanding of digital technologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be working closely with IC and IP design, modeling, software, application, and marketing teams.

IPs include accelerators, peripherals, system IP, advanced I/O, and processors.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable and innovative digital architectures that align with business goals
Lead the evaluation and selection of digital technologies and platforms
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of digital systems
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, modelling team members, and junior architects
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation
Cleary document and communicate architectural solutions

Required Experience &

Skills:

Demonstrated experience in defining and designing high-complexity designs (accelerators, processors, bus-fabric, DMA, complex I/O peripherals, etc.)
Excellent understanding of embedded systems, their hardware-software partitioning, performance and power tradeoffs, and features
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Good understanding of:
Low power design, architectures, and strategies
HDL-based RTL logic design
Front-end design tools, methodologies, and flows
Debug in simulation, FPGA, and silicon environments
Design for Test and Manufacturing

Preferred Experience & Skills (any of the below):

Experience in design of microprocessors (pipeline, execution units, buses, etc.)
Experience in design of math-centric designs (security primitives, DSP units, AI/ML, etc.)
Experience in high-level software languages for modeling (Python, C++, System

C, etc.)
Scripting skills (BASH, UNIX commands, Python, Perl, etc.)
