Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and maintaining Murex Datamart reports and interface components.
Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and end users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into functional Murex reporting objects.
Work extensively with dynamic tables such as PL, CS, DT, MV, LRB, PLVAR, etc.
Develop and optimize feeders, extractions, and scripts for efficient data processing.
Perform SQL query optimization to enhance report performance.
Utilize knowledge of the Murex FIN schema for accurate data mapping and reporting.
Contribute to EOD optimization and parallel feeding strategies.
Implement and manage dataset historization techniques.
Develop and maintain stored procedures for complex data operations.
Apply strong understanding of financial products including CURR, IRD, CRD, etc.
Work with MXML exchange and MXOpenConnect (a strong plus).
Write and execute reporting test cases to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Develop and manage simulation views for scenario analysis.
Handle market data integration and validation.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in Murex Datamart reporting and interface development.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Shell scripting, and Unix/Linux system commands.
Familiarity with Java, especially Apache Camel and Maven.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Murex MXML exchange and MXOpenConnect.
Exposure to capital markets and financial instruments.
Understanding of reporting test frameworks and simulation views.
