Information Technology Manager

Location: Panjim

The Manager IT will be responsible for the strategic initiatives of the Information Technology Department tied to business expansion, growth, and the necessary cultural evolution to support both. The function should be supportive, proactive, analytical and entrepreneurial; creating memorable moments for our guests, fostering an empowered environment for the team whilst working closely with all key business partners in order to achieve quality results.

The job incumbent acts as an ambassador for the brand, reflecting the company culture and values. All work is carried out in accordance with company corporate policies, procedures and service concepts according to local requirements and regulations

Roles/Responsibilities
Ensure the smooth running of the IT department, exerting diligent system process control ensuring that systems are well maintained and IT procedures robust in accordance with company and business procedures
Working proactively with key stakeholders to ensure business readiness and contingency plans are in place, that IT systems operates as they should, providing a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution
Develops and implements IT strategies where objectives are communicated at all levels, the performance of system software and hardware is audited and reported upon to enables strategic business decisions to be made
Understand the overall objectives and architectural aspects of all IT systems to ensuring that all IT functions and disciplines are controlled, audited ensuring system efficiencies are attained
Prepares and is responsible for the IT Budget, which includes installations, service and maintenance agreements of all IT system as well as maintaining an equipment asset log for planned replacements, upgrades and equipment return
Build and maintain effective working relationship with all key stakeholders and partners both internal and external ensuring all communications and activities are controlled and undertaken in a timely manner
Reviews and scrutinizes system performance, in accordance with company policy, objectives and standard Information Technology practices, providing recommendations that will drive financial performance and provide added value
Ensures adherence to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required

Minimum education:

National academic qualifications in Information Technology

Minimum experience:

6+ years of relevant experience in Information Technology preferably in hotels

Language skills:
Very good command of written and spoken English
