DM - Supply Chain Planner

Location: Mohali

Key Responsibilities
Demand & Supply Planning
Prepare accurate demand forecasts using historical trends and sales inputs.
Create and execute supply plans aligned with production capacity.
Run MRP/ERP cycles for timely replenishment.
Inventory Management
Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or excess.
Monitor safety stock and adjust based on consumption patterns.
Track inventory KPIs (Forecast Accuracy, DOH, Inventory Turns).
Production & Material Coordination
Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of raw materials.
Align production schedules with forecasted demand.
Identify material shortages and escalate risks proactively.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Support S&OP meetings with data and insights.
Communicate plan changes to sales, operations, logistics, and finance.
Work with logistics on inbound/outbound material movement.
Reporting & Improvement
Prepare weekly/monthly planning dashboards and reports.
Analyze forecast errors and drive improvement initiatives.
Participate in supply chain optimization projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
MBA (Regular) preferred.
Experience
4–8 years in supply chain/demand planning/inventory management.
Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, automotive, or retail preferred.
Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP), WMS, TMS.
