Role Overview :
The Cutlist Engineer will be responsible for creating precise cutting lists, BOMs, and production sheets from shop drawings. This role requires strong technical understanding of millwork and modular furniture, materials, and joinery systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate accurate cutting lists for sheets, panels, laminates, edge-banding, and hardware.
Interpret AutoCAD shop drawings and convert them into production-ready BOMs.
Work closely with the design team to clarify dimensions, joinery details, and material specifications.
Coordinate with the factory production team for panel optimization and material utilization.
Assist CNC/Nesting team with cutting breakdowns for efficient production.
Verify drawings and flag any errors, mismatches, or missing details.
Prepare and maintain BOMs, material sheets, and data logs for each project.
Ensure timely delivery of cutlists according to project schedules.
Support in quality control by ensuring correct materials and sizes are produced.



Skills Required:

Strong understanding of millwork, modular furniture, and joinery details.
Good working knowledge of materials (MDF, plywood, laminates, veneers, acrylics, hardware, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings.
Experience preparing cutlists, BOMs, and production sheets.
Knowledge of optimization or nesting software (added advantage).
Good communication and coordination skills with factory and design teams.
High accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, or any technical field.
3–6 years of experience in cutlist engineering, modular furniture factory, joinery, or fit-out.
