Procurement Lead - Consumables & Chemicals

Location: Chākan

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct continuous market research on consumables (Coatings, Inks, Solvents, Adhesives, Film, Foil , Liner , Blankets etc.) used in the Printing Industry.
Evaluate new suppliers, analyse product performance, and identify improvement areas vs. existing products.
Coordinate with suppliers and QA teams to ensure compliance with  REACH, RoHS, Food Safety, and BRC  standards.
Track and analyse raw material pricing trends & currency movements to forecast market movements and identify cost reduction opportunities.
Manage vendor audits, performance, and supply continuity through alternate/substitute sourcing.
Support commercial negotiations and price finalizations; prepare monthly purchase MIS for all units.
Collaborate closely with unit procurement teams for supply and vendor issue resolution.
Knowledge of Annual contracting.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of chemical market dynamics and costing of inks, coatings, and adhesives, film , foils , liners , printing, and coating Blankets .
Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in  MS Excel  and exposure to  SAP  or equivalent ERP systems.
Dynamic, proactive, and relationship-oriented professional with strong commercial acumen.
