Job Description:

Senior Facilities Engineer supporting surface facilities activities within upstream oil & gas. Role involves design review, project engineering and management for EPC contracts, HAZID/HAZOP/PHAs, and the optimization of surface facility operations.

• Design and review engineering design packages for surface facilities activities.
• Initiate and participate in conceptual and detailed design, project engineering and management on EPC for surface facilities.
• Review and follow up engineering aspects related to HAZID, HAZOP, SIL and PHA for oil & gas production facilities.
• Review engineering diagrams, specifications and datasheets (PFD, P&, SAFE Chart, HMB, GA Diagram, Process Specification, Process Datasheet, Mechanical Diagram, Mechanical Specification, Mechanical Datasheet, etc.).
• Oversee construction, cost monitoring, re-engineering review, revisions and modifications during construction, material procurement/contract review and evaluation bidding process, and project change scope management.
• Create AFE proposals including preparation, submission, and progress monitoring.
• Optimize surface facility operation and monitor production facility operation with maintenance strategy/planning.
• Create WP&B for SKK Migas approval.

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry/PSC company.
• Strong knowledge in project management systems as well as HSE codes, Migas standards, etc.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to Facilities.
• Familiar with international engineering code standards (e.g., API, ASME, NFPA, DNV).
• Proficient in engineering tools/software such as Hysys, Pipesim, etc.
• Good understanding of contracting, procurement, installation, commissioning and start-up for oil & gas production facilities.
