Position: Sr Project Engineer (TPC Position)
Location: Daerah Khusus Ibukota JakartaExperience level: 13+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing onshore gas production facilities integrated with carbon capture and storage capabilities. This position requires an experienced professional with extensive experience working from the client side in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) projects within the upstream oil and gas sector.
You will oversee project execution, ensure technical excellence, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Job Description:
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.Prepare and present project reports and documentation.Create general project presentations and Minutes of Meetings for project meetings.Conduct regular project reviews, risk assessments, and progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.Resolve technical and operational challenges, minimizing disruption to project timelines and deliverables.Review project management deliverables and monitor performance of project contracts (FEED, EPC).Follow up on the Project Issue Log and liaise with team members responsible for actions to update the log.Participate in preparing tender packages, evaluating tenders, and submitting recommendations to tender committees.Handle processing and resolution of variations and contractor claims.Adopt standard safe work practices and procedures in accordance with safety regulations.Perform other tasks as assigned.Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of proven experience working from the client (PSC) side managing large-scale EPCI projects, preferably onshore gas production facilities.Experience in delivering projects from planning through construction and commissioning of gas processing plants.Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in project management and engineering.Experience in managing engineering and construction resources.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Seniority level
