Facility Engineer

Qualifications:

• Polytechnic or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, with MEP, instrumentation or related technical field and equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facility/process plant/power plant operations, engineering, or maintenance.
• Advance knowledge of HVAC systems, such as chillers, centrifugal refrigeration systems, fans, cooling towers, AHUs, and pumps.
• Understanding of basic power calculations on 1‑ and 3‑phase circuits.
• Experience working with maintenance management systems.
• Experience developing SOPs, work plans, MOPs, or other operational documentation.
• Good command of English, positive attitude, professional, responsible, hardworking, and eager to learn.
• A good team player with excellent attitude and ability to work independently when needed.

• Manage routine inspections and maintenance of infrastructure supporting data center operations; comfortable with 24/7 critical environment infrastructure and data center equipment requirements; reporting directly to Facility Manager.
• Perform and supervise maintenance of the data center core facility, providing required services for customers in terms of mechanical, electrical, fire system, automation, and network.
• Own and participate in site‑level mechanical system issues such as HVAC systems, chillers, centrifugal refrigeration systems, cooling towers, In‑Row cooling, AHUs, pumps, water treatment, etc., during the project execution phase.
• Develop RAM analysis to optimize performance and efficiency of data center operations.
• Analyze and evaluate data center sub‑system performances, identify improvement areas, and recommend upgrades.
• Analyze and coordinate maintenance and safety procedures, maintain redundant high‑capacity cooling systems, and operate and support data center backup electrical systems.
• Provide detailed information on design and operation of data center facilities to consultants, subcontractors, field installation team, and customers when required.
• Embody culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspects of the DRB environment and activities.
